At the CES 2024 show in Las Vegas, USA,
South Korean engineering giant Hyundai Motor Group showcased its achievements
in stunning breakthrough technologies and global innovations.
Concepts
and ready-made prototypes of special equipment in the near future will be based
on battery power for drives and systems, as well as artificial intelligence.
Among the most striking innovations of the Hyundai HD segment we can
particularly mention the technology of the full-size version of the Concept X
excavator based on artificial intelligence. Here's an overview of the
headphone-autonomous device technology humans will soon be looking forward to.
The
full-size version of Hyundai’s Doosan Concept X excavator stands nearly 4.5
meters tall at the exhibition hall. Its undercarriage is based on four
articulated track modules with electric drive. The construction giant has no
cab at all - the excavator is completely autonomous. The current version is an
improvement over the same previous concept shown over the summer.
Hyundai
has used its own Xite Tranormation development package, reflecting its vision
of the construction site of the future. The technology is designed to solve
pressing problems facing humanity, such as security, supply chain logistics,
climate change, and more.
This
concept excavator has an "all-electric" electric drive solution.
Unlike classic machines and even electric analogues of other brands, here
electric motors and drives are used to control the boom handle and working
mechanism, instead of supplying hydraulic oil to the circuit via a pump.
There
is one more news. For HD Hyundai's existing machines and helping heavy
equipment operators, technology that allows you to "see through"
metal buckets will be. It's still under development but will be available soon.
